Showed up late, near closing time. The place was empty and only the owners were there, cleaning up and getting ready to go home. The owner, although he doesn't speak the best english, was immensely kind and directed me to a few items on the menu that he thought I would enjoy. Ended up ordering the Fish Po Boy because he highly recommended the fish baskets to me and I wanted to keep it simple - also ordered their Shrimp Gumbo just to try it out. My order was cooked up fresh and quickly! Everything was beautifully seasoned and delicious. I loved the sandwich and the gumbo both and am looking forward to going back to try the rest of their menu. The only problem that I saw happen was that they put small, plastic skewers in their sandwiches and one of them somehow got cooked into my fries (but, hey, that means they were fresh!) so they may want to ditch those in the future. Otherwise, everything was hot, delicious, and well worth it. Recommend this place, for sure. Edit: Went back during dinner the other day and ordered the Grilled Shrimp, Chicken Flautas, and Chocolate Cheesecake. Everything was beautifully seasoned and delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.
